However we also had a Tornado watch and warnings all evening, and the destruction they bring is just scary especially at night.   Naturally instead of running to the basement I grabbed a camera and headed outside under our carport for a better angle.  After the Monsoon hit however, I then decided it might be safer to head indoors and take photos from the kitchen window.
